Iraq calls on Kuwait to enter into a bilateral dialogue to resolve all the outstanding issues

18:25 27/07/2009 أعلن الناطق الرسمي بإسم الحكومة العراقية علي الدباغ بأن الحكومة العراقية تأمل في أن يتم حل كل القضايا العالقة مع دولة الكويت الشقيقة وفق قواعد الإحترام المتبادل والرغبة الأكيدة لإنهاء تبعات المرحلة السابقة والتي خلقتها سياسات النظام البائد وتأثيرها على تطور العلاقات بين البلدين.
The government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh, the Iraqi government hoped that it would be solving all outstanding issues with the State of Kuwait in accordance with the rules of mutual respect and a firm desire to put an end to the consequences of the previous phase and created by the policies of the former regime and its impact on the development of relations between the two countries. وأكد الدباغ في بيان حصل PUKmedia على نسخة منه "بأنه لا مصلحة لأحد بإبقاء العراق تحت طائلة الفصل السابع من قرارات مجلس الأمن الدولي حيث لم يعد العراق مهدداً للأمن والسلم في المنطقة."
Dabbagh said in a statement obtained PUKmedia to copy, "that there is no one's interest to keep Iraq under Chapter VII of the UN Security Council resolutions since Iraq is no longer a menace to peace and security in the region." وأضاف الدباغ بأن العراق ملتزم بإحترام تعهداته وإحترام القرارات الدولية ويدعو الحكومة الكويتية للدخول في حوار ثنائي لحل كل الملفات العالقة والعمل معاً لعلاقات أخوة وجوار وشراكة إقتصادية وتجارية تخدم مصالح الشعبين الشقيقين.
Dabbagh added that Iraq was committed to respect its commitments and respect international resolutions and calls for the Kuwaiti government to enter into a bilateral dialogue to resolve all the outstanding issues and work together for friendship and neighborly relations and economic partnership and trade that serves the interests of the two brotherly countries.
