Am I missing something here? Where I live, Thanksgiving comes after Halloween. I gotta be missing something.

I really wasn't trying to be funny. After seeing Shilo's post I did some digging, well actually googling, and here is what I found:


On January 31, 1957, the Canadian Parliament proclaimed:

“ A Day of General Thanksgiving to Almighty God for the bountiful harvest with which Canada has been blessed … to be observed on the 2nd Monday in October.

I reckon that's why it said "to all my CANADIAN friends"....

I guess it's true, you're never too old too learn something new. I had no idea. And so:....Happy Late Thanksgiving, EH!
