BAGHDAD, Dec 30 (Reuters) - The governor of Iraq's Anbar province was killed in a bomb attack on Wednesday, along with a member of the provincial council and the deputy police commander, state television reported.
Al-Iraqiya state television reported that Qassim Mohammed, governor of the mainly Sunni Arab province west of Baghdad, was killed in an attack in central Ramadi, the provincial capital.
Police sources said the twin suicide attacks, which took place near the provincial government headquarters, killed at least 10 people and wounded at least 40. (Editing by Tim Pearce)
