Zebari meets ICMP official

BAGHDAD
/ Aswat al-Iraq: Iraqi Foreign Minister on Monday discussed with the chairman of the Iraq program of the International Commission on Missing Persons (ICMP) the performance of the commission’s work in the country, according to an official statement.
“The meeting tackled the importance of opening an office in Baghdad and the commission’s future work,” said the statement received by Aswat
al-Iraq news agency.
“The commission is a non-governmental organization working on the missing persons file during the Iraqi-Iranian file and the second Gulf war,” the statement said.
“The Foreign Ministry and the Human Rights Ministry agreed to sign an agreement to benefit from the ICMP’s work,” it added.
