Obama: The war in Iraq come to an end and Iraq is a sovereign, independent

Palm - President Barack Obama come to an end the war in Iraq, the country Mr. and independent and that three days before the deadline for ending the U.S. combat mission in this country.

Obama said in his weekly, transmitted by radio and television, after more than seven years, will end the United States the job of fighting in Iraq and is an important step forward is to stop the war is responsible for confirming that when you are a candidate for this position, made a promise to put an end to this war, as President, this is what to do, we have worked to return more than 90 000 troops.

And Obama, who will spend the last Saturday of the holiday in Marthaz Vineyard (Massachusetts, North East), a televised speech Tuesday night, he refers to this symbolic date from the Oval Office at the White House.

The number of U.S. Army Forces in Iraq this week to below the threshold symbolism of 50 000 soldiers under the instructions Obama to hold down the official force seven years after the invasion of Iraq which led to the ouster of Saddam Hussein's regime has been more than 4400 of their comrades killed in this country since it invaded in 2003, according to the outcome documented.

As promised by Obama, the mission will end hostilities formally in August 31, soldiers assigned to the remaining provision of advice and help the Iraqi army would leave Iraq by the end of 2011.

The president said the U.S. is important in the end is that the war come to an end and like any sovereign, independent country, Iraq is free to make their own decisions about the future and from now until the end of next year, all our soldiers have returned from there.<---OOPS somebody need to explain Chapt. 7 to the president...while under Chapt. 7 your still a occupied country..there may not be "combat" soldiers there...there still is 50K soldiers in iraq.

Obama, a known opponent high for the Iraq war since it began in March 2003, he was careful always to distinguish in his speeches between the political decision to send troops to the country taken by his predecessor, former President George Bush, and the daily battles faced by the U.S. troops in that country.

He said in a speech in August 2 against veterans, persons with disabilities in Atlanta (Georgia, South East) The Iraq war sparked great controversy in our country, there are patriots supported the invasion of Iraq and others who opposed it said, but was never disagreements over support for more than a million Americans they performed military service in Iraq.
