BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The victims of explosions that rocked the Iraqi capital on Thursday have reached 57 people
killed and 176 injured, according to an Iraqi Health Ministry report.
"The last result of explosions that rocked Baghdad on Thursday have reached 57 civilians killed and more than 176 others injured, and the result is expected to increase," a Health Ministry source told Aswat al-Iraq news agency, adding that the Karrada blast's victims were not known till the time of this statement about noon Baghdad time.
A government source told Aswat al-Iraq that "the security situation in Baghdad is not stable, whilst the security bodies have blocked some the main roads in the Iraqi capital to delay the arrival of other booby-trapped cars for certain areas, districts, that witnessed the stealing of a number of cars and killing their owners over the past 3 days.
