Accused the parliamentary Committee on Foreign Affairs, Kuwait not to cooperate in resolving the outstanding issues between the two countries, saying the government seeks to resolve problems with Kuwait through one basket. The news agency quoted all over Iraq for a member of the Ala Talabani as saying


"According to our recent meeting in the Foreign Relations Committee in the Parliament with the Deputy Foreign Minister Mohammed Hajj Hamoud, the number of adviser to the ministry we know, according to the delegation show us that the Kuwaiti side is uncooperative in resolving the outstanding issues remaining between Iraq and Kuwait, so he does not want to solve and close these files."
She added that "the ministerial delegation told us that Iraq is no longer subject to clause of Chapter VII of the UN Security Council because it issued several resolutions and there are aspects of the response from the Iraq and have committed themselves and carried out such as the issue of international debt and weapons of mass destruction and file the oil for food and that the only file remaining on Kuwait, and even this got it made some adjustments need to be across the political decision which can not decide by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs or any other government institution. "
She said "one of the files that are needed to the political decision is the land border and shared water and compensation by the invasion of the former regime of Kuwait and the port of Mubarak as well that the issue of the missing and the remains of Kuwaitis responded with Iraq a lot," referring to the "pursuit of the Iraqi government in the Council of Ministers and the Ministry of Foreign solution the remaining outstanding issues with Kuwait through a single transaction to close it completely and the final. "
Iraq has been under since 1990 to the seventh item in the Charter of the United Nations under the decision of the Security Council of the United Nations over the invasion of the former regime of Kuwait in that year and continues to Iraq under the Tailth because of the survival of some outstanding issues between the two countries such as the remains of prisoners and missing persons in Iraq, the Kuwaiti archives and compensation of oil and burning oil wells in addition to the freezing of Iraqi assets in the financial world banks to pay compensation to those affected by the invasion.
In the context of coalition rule of law, denied the State of Kuwait declined an invitation from Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki to visit.
The MP said the coalition of state law, Ihsan Al-Awadi was not a "no retreat from Kuwait on the invitation of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki."
He noted that "there are invitations submitted by Kuwait to the Iraqi government, saying that relations are good and moving toward the phase of calm and resolve the differences on the table of dialogue."
The Kuwaiti government, had "announced the postponement of the visit of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki because of concern the general election."
The Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sabah of Kuwait Khaled Al-Sabah said that Kuwait's Prime Minister Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah telephoned Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and told him to postpone his visit to Kuwait because of the Government's preoccupation with the general election. "
For its part, announced Adviser to the Prime Minister Mary Rayes said Nuri al-Maliki will visit Kuwait next month, noting that the issue of port Mubarak of the most important files that will be addressed during the visit.
Rais said that "the Kuwaiti Prime Minister Maliki has promised that the visit will be effective and solve all outstanding issues between the two countries."
"The Port of Mubarak and Faw port will be the most important topics to be discussed by the Prime Minister in his visit, as well as the issue of debt owed by Iraq," asserting that "there are assurances declared by the Kuwaiti government in the search out of Iraq's Chapter VII."
