Maliki would tell Obama to intervene in regional affairs of Iraq and ask him to stop the action of these interventions

Are Iraqi Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari, who is currently in talks with New York officials of the United Nations in preparation for the visit of Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, the UN headquarters next week.




Before his meeting with President Barack Obama, amid assurances Iraqi bin «Security Council is to remove Iraq from Chapter VII and the lifting of the sanctions since 1990».

The Security Council passed resolution 1859 last year, which ended the mandate of the multinational forces in Iraq, and the imposition of protection money and assets from legal claims that have accumulated since the era of the former regime for a period of one year or until December 31 (December) 2009, and the decision to admit «positive developments and that the situation of Iraq is very different from the situation at the time of the adoption of resolution 661 in 1990 and further recognizes the importance of the restoration of Iraq before making his international ».


For his part, stressed the representative of «United Iraqi Alliance» member of the Foreign Relations Committee, Sami al-Askari told «life» that «all the indicators confirm that the report of the Secretary-General of the United Nations will be positive».

He explained that «the international situation with Iraq out of Chapter VII and subject to the lifting of the sanctions and return to the international community».


Maliki's visit and the upcoming Washington, the military said that «the visit comes in response to a formal invitation from the previous President Obama», referring to it «will focus on the strategic framework agreement, which includes the development of economic relations and trade, cultural and scientific, as well as the subsequent steps for the implementation of the security agreement in order to complete withdrawal U.S. forces the end of 2011 ».

The Maliki accused unnamed countries, regional monitoring of the impact of billions of dollars in voter sentiment and the purchase of Iraqi voice in the parliamentary elections planned for early next year.


In addition, said U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton: «We look forward to discussing the strategic framework agreement with Maliki during his visit to Washington next week».

She said in a speech the day before yesterday in the Council on Foreign Relations «This agreement is the basis of our future cooperation with Iraq and the Iraqi people, and I look forward to the discussion and discuss its implementation».
She explained that «the focus is now shifting from security issues to the efforts which enhance the capacity of civil Iraq, as support the work of Iraqi ministries and help in the efforts of the Iraqis to achieve national unity».
