An official source in the Ministry of Finance, commenting "on the Masrah by MP in the House of Representatives, Mr. Hussein Al-Falluji in the range of 1563 to 23/7/2009 with the following:
لقد افرد الدستور العراقي الذي اقره مجلس النواب ووافق عليه اغلبية الشعب العراقي مواد محددة

للسلطات الثلاث التشريعية والتنفيذية والقضائية وكل منها اعطاها اختصاصاتها ومسؤولياتها ولم يرد في نصوص الدستور مايشير اين من هذه السلطات هي الاعلى وايها الادنى كما اشار الى ذلك السيد الفلوجي في تصريحه . اما فيما يتعلق بطلب البرلمان استضافة معالي وزير المالية ومحافظ البنك المركزي العراقي

مجتمعا" لمناقشة السياستين المالية والنقدية فقد ابلغ معالي وزيرالمالية وزير الدولة لشؤون مجلس النواب بأ ستعداده التام لقبوله الاستضافة على ان يتم تحديد الموعد مع السيد محافظ البنك المركزي العراقي ومجلس النواب من اجل الحضور الى المجلس ونحن بأنتظار تحديد الموعد للحضور . الى ان ما اثار استغرابنا هو ان الفلوجي اشار في تصريحه بأن ايرادات النفط للاربع سنوات الماضية ( 2006 ـ 2009 ) تعادل (300) مليار دولار وهو الشخص المطلع بأعتباره نائب في مجلس النواب وساهم في اقرار الموازنات الاتحادية للسنوات الاربعة المذكور وفيها بشكل واضح حجم الايرادات النفطية لكل سنة والتي بلغ مجموع ماخطط له في تلك الموازنات حوالي ( 156) مليار دولار الى نصف ماذكر في تصريحه ونؤمل من السيد الفلوجي ان يخبرنا عن المصدر الذي استقى معلوماته عن هذا المبلغ الوارد بتصريحه لأننا بأمس الحاجة له في ظل الازمة المالية

العالمية وانخفاض اسعار النفط الخام العالمية . اما اين صرفت هذه المبالغ فأنه من المؤكد بأن السيد الفلوجي استلم نسخ من الموازنات التي نوقشت في مجلس النواب للسنوات المذكورة وفيها جميع التفاصيل المتعلقة بأوجه الصرف واذا يحتاج الى أي بيانات اخرى فأن وزارة المالية على استعداد لتجهيزها له وسوف تقدم له حين الطلب .
