Government approves budget recommendations – source

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi Council of Ministers has approved recommendations made by the ministerial committee to reconsider the 2010 federal budget, the government’s official spokesperson said Saturday.
“The committee has suggested an oil price of $60 a barrel,” Dr. Ali al-Dabbagh said in a release received by Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“It also recommended that Iraq should export 2.15 million barrels of oil per day,” he said.
Al-Dabbagh pointed out that the committee noted that the operational budget in 2010 should be the same as in 2009.
