Stock market to re-launch its index

BAGHDAD / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi stock market will re-launch its index in Sept. 2009, the market’s executive director said on Monday.
The index has been on hold for around two months as the market has been in the process of replacing manual deals with digital systems.
“Work is under way to allow the market’s monitors to show their data in Arabic,” Taha Ahmed Abdilsalam told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“The monitors currently all use English,” he said.
