The tractors are worth about $3.2 million. A part of the cargo, comprising 60 tractors worth $768,000, will be exported to Iraq via the Kurdistan region, Mohammad-Reza Zamanlou, the Managing Director of Iran's Tractor Manufacturing Company said on Tuesday.
Zamanlou also announced that Iran had exported tractors worth $37 million to several other countries, including Sudan, Algeria, Nigeria, Zimbabwe, Libya, Venezuela, Afghanistan, Armenia, Uganda and Azerbaijan Republic from March to September 2009.
The figure can rise to $80 million by March 2010, he predicted.
