اعلن وزير المالية باقر جبر الزبيدي ان اقرار الموازنة التكميلية للعام الحالي سينجم عنه عجز في موازنة 2010 يصل الى عشرة ترليونات دينار.تصريحات وزير المالية نقلها بيان صادر عن اجتماع عقد مؤخرا،

جمع الزبيدي واللجنة المالية في مجلس النواب.وذكر البيان الذي تسلمت "الصباح"نسخة منه، ان الجانبين درسا مشروع قانون الموازنة العامة التكميلية لسنة 2009 بغية اكمال تقريرها النهائي بشأنه وعرضه على مجلس النواب للبت فيها.وكان النائب الاول لرئيس مجلس النواب الشيخ خالد العطية قد اعرب عن أمله بالتصويت على مشروع الموازنة التكميلية في الاسبوع الجاري، بعد ان اكمل البرلمان القراءة الاولى للمشروع.

وتابع البيان: ان وزير المالية استعرض في الاجتماع ما تحقق من لقاءات العراق مع صندوق النقد الدولي، وان العراق نجح في كسب الموافقة للحصول على قروض ميسرة وبفائدة لا تتجاوز (1 بالمائة) مع منحة مالية ما سيكون له الاثر الكبير في دعم الموازنة.
The statement continued: Finance Minister in the meeting reviewed the achievements made in Iraq for meetings with the IMF, and that Iraq has succeeded in winning approval for soft loans with an interest rate not to exceed (1 percent) with a grant will have a significant impact in supporting the budget.

وقال عبد الكريم السامرائي نائب رئيس الجبهة: ان "الموازنة الحالية تعاني من عجز وعليه يجب عدم اقرار موازنة تكميلية لانها ستتسبب في زيادة عجز الميزانية"، مبينا انه "كان الاجدر ان يتم تقديم موازنة العام 2010 بدلا من الموازنة التكميلية لاستدراك الخلل والمواطن التي تحتاج منا الى اهتمام لصرف الاموال اللازمة لها".
