Ministry of Trade Signs Memorandum of Understanding with WFP

And al-Hashemi said the mechanism adopted in this regard provides coverage of the employee who earns a salary of one million and 500 thousand dinars and a head of a family there is no-card items for him and his family, while withholding for the employee who is not married, but if the employee's name is listed as being married to the ration card of his parents , the blocking of him and his wife and children only.
Hashemi called on ministries and departments that have not provided the Ministry of Commerce with lists of names of affiliates included by the need to expedite sending the lists. and the Ministry of Commerce signed a memorandum of understanding with the WFP of the UN concerning the provision of technical assistance, technology transfer and capacity-building of the Ministry in the promotion of insurance operations the ration card items.
Confirmed by an official source in the ministry in a press statement, pointing out that the ministry is seeking, through this memorandum to raise their crew efficiency of working to provide articles of the ration card for all citizens and benefit from the expertise and advanced technologies in the areas of procurement of food materials, shipping, road transport, storage, quality control and monitoring systems and control on the movement and distribution of food as well as to raise the capacity of provincial and rehabilitation for the management of the provision of materials for the ration card population in the future through training of personnel candidature for this purpose.
He also sought to achieve another goal of the memorandum of understanding focuses on the use of international insurance markets to cover the cost of materials and cargo risk, and improve follow-up of supply and demand at the global and regional levels to predict any increases in prices and benefit from the import in a timely manner, as well as follow-up of domestic supply and demand to GPS which suffer from a lack of ration materials and response mechanisms for this purpose and identify the strategic storage management mechanisms.
