First Deputy Speaker of the House receives a delegation from the United Nations Mission (UNAMI)

Received the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Sheikh Khaled al-Attiya and the delegation of the United Nations Mission (UNAMI) in his office on Monday morning 8/6/2009 and during the meeting, they discussed preparations for the convening of the Conference on the Law of the oil, gas and water problem suffered by Iraq and the cooperation between the Iraqi Council of Representatives and the Organization of UNAMI Working in Baghdad, which will be held on Sunday June 14, 2009, with the participation of a large number of officials and international experts.
Sheikh Al Attiyah stressed the need for coordination between the ministries of oil in Baghdad and the Kurdistan region to identify the constraints faced by the legislation of this law in order to approval by the Iraqi Council of Representatives.
