Provincial government agreed with Maliki to open the files of oil

Arbil (AP AP) - A statement by the Kurdistan Regional Government, said that oil revenues in the province of Kurdistan, for all the Iraqi people, as well as distribution of the justness of the law through legislation the distribution of the proceeds.


The statement received by our house a copy of Iraq on Monday, in response to remarks made by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki told the media, in 3/1/2010 as "the time has come to open a file the oil contracts with Kurdistan region and resolution flexibility, realism reservation rights and interests in these contracts" .


The statement by the Minister of natural resources in Kurdistan Ashti Hawrami as saying that "the Prime Minister stresses on the oil contracts to open a file with the region and resolution. And the government of the province is ready to engage in serious dialogue about this topic as well as we are fully prepared for the benefit of the Iraqi people to resume the export of petroleum crude from the fields of the region and in quantities of not less than 100 thousand barrels per day and we are working to increase as soon as possible to more than 200 thousand barrels per day within this year. "

A parliamentary committee welcomes the announcement by the Government of the Kurdistan region near the oil export from its territory,


Welcomed member of the Committee on Oil and Gas Authority, Abdul Hadi al-Hassani, on Monday, a step towards the Kurdistan Region re-exported from its oil fields, hoping to change the Kurdistan partnership contracts signed with foreign companies to service contracts.


He said al-Hassani told (Voices of Iraq), "The announcement of the Government of the Kurdistan region near the oil export from its territory is to correct the previous mistake to halt oil exports," saying the decision "a positive step in order to benefit from Iraq's export oil."


He called al-Hassani Kurdistan Regional Government to "review their positions on the subject of previous oil contracts signed with oil companies, and to change the contracts of partnership contracts to service contracts," stressing that "foreign companies that signed contracts are ready to review these contracts."


The oil minister of the Kurdistan Regional Government drastically announced on Monday that his government was ready to resume oil exports and increase the quantities, confirming his intention to proceed in a "serious debate" on the issue with Baghdad.


The Hawrami announced mid-October last stop exporting oil from the region following the renewed differences with the government in Baghdad on the mechanism of paying money to foreign companies operating there.
