First
Amendment to the Law of the Central Bank of Iraq issued Order No. (56)
for the year 2004 by the Coalition Provisional Authority (dissolved)
Article (1):
Abolished
the text of paragraph (1) of Article (13) of the Central Bank of Iraq
issued Order No. (56) for the year 2004 by the Coalition Provisional
Authority (now defunct) and be replaced by the following:
1 - a -
appointed by the Governor of the CBI proposal to the rank of Minister,
Prime Minister and the endorsement of the House and be experienced and
competent in matters Chirvip or financial or economic.
B - The
Governor deputies appointed in the rank of Under Secretary of the
proposal and recommendation from the Council of Ministers and the
approval of the House of Representatives, and be experienced and
competent in matters Chirvip or financial or economic.
C - Retain
the governor and his two deputies and other Council members provided
for in Article (11) of the Act functions and membership of the Board of
Directors for a period of five (5) years, subject to renewal.
Article (2):
This law is effective from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.

In
order to determine the degree of Iraqi Central Bank Governor and his
deputies and retaining members of the board functions and membership of
the Council for a period of five (5) years, initiated this law.
