Najaf inks $22bn investment deals with Korean, Iraqi firms

NAJAF / Aswat al-Iraq: The investment commission in Najaf has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with a group of Korean and Iraqi companies to dig out oil and conduct infrastructure projects worth over $22 billion U.S. dollars in the province.
“The oil investment project is waiting for the oil minister’s approval,” Najaf Governor Adnan al-Zarfi told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
