At the end of a series of meetings of the Special Commission to develop mechanisms to ensure the protection of Iraqi funds held abroad after the mandate of the Development Fund for Iraq money (DFI) under the chairmanship of Deputy Prime Minister Nuri al-Rose Shawis Committee reached to draft a preliminary report includes the provision of a work plan and timetable to ensure that the transition mechanism subsequent to the Development Fund for Iraq by the end of the year,


In addition to a government plan for the consideration of debt and compensation claims inherited from the former regime, and the liquidation of files.


A statement issued by the Information Office of the Deputy Prime Minister Nuri al-Rose Shawis committee is to report to the Council of Ministers to be approved and submitted to the UN Security Council through the Committee on the Iraqi financial experts prior to the date when the first of next April, pursuant to paragraphs (4.5) Security Council resolution No. 1905.


The Committee considered that the draft report contained in the current proposals and recommendations can be fulfilled at the present time in Iraq's obligations towards the Security Council resolution in question, to be completed the rest of the procedures and obligations of the Government in the coming months of this year.


The Committee had been formed by a decision of the Council of Ministers on the nineteenth of January last, headed by Dr. Rose Nouri Shawis Deputy Prime Minister and the membership of the Ministers of Foreign Affairs, Finance, Planning and Development Cooperation and oil, Justice and Central Bank Governor and Chairman of the Financial Inspection Office and the Prime Minister's Advisor for Legal Affairs .


In a related context indicated a member of the Foreign Relations Committee, Rep. Tania Talat need to take decisions in support of Iraq by the Security Council as long as there is a threat to its neighbors, and cancel all the decisions taken against him, after he was fulfill its obligations to Kuwait in the demarcation of the border and compensation, as well as ensuring Khalwalarac of weapons of mass destruction.


She Talat told (long) to be among the list of consultations and interviews of both Iraq and Kuwait under the auspices of the United Nations in helping Iraq in recent months.


Talat said: that the Iraqi state and the Iraqi government and even the presidency, the parliament has worked very hard to solve this problem at a time not so long ago and was re-300 missing Kuwaitis in Iraqi territory, adding that he still discussions and relations are moving in the right direction, noting that Iraq is trying hard to sustainability and good relations with our sister Kuwait.
