Beijing may take steps to quell speculation ahead of China's expected decision to let the yuan rise, Reuters quoted 3 sources as saying. It would involve cutting short-term foreign debt quotas for some commercial banks. Investors have been buying dollars to swap for yuan in anticipation of the yuan's rise. China worries that speculative capital inflows could boost inflation and de stabilize the world's No. 3 economy.
