Iraq seeks to restore its membership in the French Union of Arab Banks


The Director-General of the Rafidain Abdel Azim Abdel Hussein al-Yasiri
of efforts to restore Iraq to the French Union of Arab Banks after
Tsainiat suspended its membership in the last century.
Yasiri said
in a press release from France had been held several meetings at which
it presented to the French side, statements of bank balances and
contributions, as well as a complete study on the current economic
situation in Iraq and how to improve.
He said the French side, the
only opposition to the Iraq Federation of Arab banks and the French
state of the grounds of political instability and economic and security
situation of Iraq.
Yasiri He has got a promise from the director of
the Arab Banks Union, French visit Iraq soon to meet with the Minister
of Finance and the Prime Minister concerning the membership of Iraq.
