Called the Iraqi National Alliance and the Kurdistan Alliance, on Friday, the Iraqi government to postpone its decision to judge the maintenance and installation of border markers with Kuwait, calling at the same time the case to the Iraqi parliament for a decision.

"

Ugaili added that "it is essential that the Iraqi parliament in the opinion of the demarcation of the Iraqi border with Kuwait and discussed in detail before giving a final decision," noting that "the parliament the right to review this case under the Iraqi constitution."

The leader of the Supreme Islamic Council and the governor of Dhi Qar province to the former that "Iraq currently believes the establishment of good relations with neighboring countries, especially Kuwait, despite the differences in passing during the former regime."

Prior to the spokesman for the Iraqi List, Haider Mulla said said in an interview for "Alsumaria News", the government announced the approval of the installation and maintenance of border signs with Kuwait's personal position by the Office of the Prime Minister does not represent the Iraqi people, indicating that this step will not be acceptable to the Iraqi people .

The government spokesman Ali al-Dabbagh said in an interview for "Alsumaria News", on the twentieth of the month of September now, that Iraq had decided to install marks the border with Kuwait and maintenance of signal it to start solving problems with Kuwait in the final and resolving issues that impede the country emerges from Chapter VII, indicating that this step aims to reassure everyone that Iraq was committed to United Nations resolutions.

For his part, Kurdistan Alliance MP Farhad Atrushi that "the coalition opposed to any government announced the commitment of United Nations resolutions Judge demarcation of the border between Iraq and Kuwait cut off large parts of the city of Basra and awarded to Kuwait."

He called Atrushi government and officials to "be patient in this topic to see when the House of Representatives on the details," noting that "the international conventions and treaties, approval and ratification is the prerogative of the Iraqi Council of Representatives and House of Representatives is currently disabled."

It seems that the issue of installing border markers between Iraq and Kuwait, which was installed after Iraq's acceptance of resolution 833 in 1994 by the President of the former regime of Saddam Hussein will be one of the issues that will be used in the political struggle going on in the country, especially with a rejection of popular within the country for any approval to install a new Iraqi border with Kuwait and that many Iraqis feel that they take large swathes of Iraqi territory and consolidate of Kuwait.

The file border disputes and oil between Iraq and Kuwait, began after Britain decided in 1961 Granting of Independence to Kuwait, the rejection of the late Prime Minister Abdul Karim Qassem, recognition, and called for time to annex Kuwait to spend Basra, despite the recognition of the Iraqi government, dominated by the Party Baath Party in 1963 after dropping system Abd al-Karim Qasim, the independence of Kuwait deal, some historians it has for the Iraqi government to give money because of the deficit was experienced, but that President Saddam Hussein, who belongs to the same party decided on the second of August 1990 invasion Kuwait against the backdrop of problems on the border and Tsmha and conflict on some oil wells.

The UN Security Council issued resolution No. 833 of 1993 provides for the demarcation of the border between Iraq and Kuwait, which has a length of 216 km through the establishment of an international commission to demarcate the border between the two parties, which was rejected by the regime of President Saddam Hussein first, he agreed at the end of 1994 after international pressure , and Iraqi officials affirm that the demarcation of the border between the two countries was by force, and led to the deduction of Iraqi territory in terms of Safwan and Umm Qasr area, as well as reducing the area of Iraqi territorial waters.

The Secretary General of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon has urged Iraq in November 16 last to fulfill its obligations to Kuwait and, in particular Security Council resolution No. (833) on the demarcation of the border between the two out of the penalty provisions of Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations.
