Panel discussion of economic reform

Addressed the
seminar organized by the Iraqi Center for economic reform in a very
focused on the importance of partnership between the private and public
sectors and the conditions for successful partnership.

The workshop, which was characterized by economic
headed jeweler boldly preposterous arguments, discussions and ideas and
vision, good management and capacity to participate in the
interventions and questions.

Conferred on the workshop of the importance of the participation of
professors, academics and members of Parliament and provide high-level
personalities from among the figures that took part in the
Interventions Ms. Shatha al-Musawi, a member of the Iraqi parliament
and Iraqi government spokesman d.

Ali al-Dabbagh, an economist and adviser Abdel Rasul high tourist
Baha'eddin Mayahi and brilliant excuse for the names of which I have
failed to mention the other.
Theme of the seminar was under the
title of the problem of financing and implementation of public
projects
: the style of partnership between the private and public
sectors of the professor, Dr. Kamal Basri and another supplement to the
researcher, professor of economic Afif Rais was under the title of the
partnership between the public and private sectors.

What is noticeable is that the discussions went beyond the content of
studies, but was useful to them, and establishes the focus for a
genuine partnership and is required at the present time between the
private and public sectors to guide the national economy
as it has been

competencies and the coalition were the private sector and the public
sector.
Although there is divergence of views on the effectiveness of the
functioning of the private sector and public sector at the height of
elation calls the transition to a market economy emerged as the real
need for an active and influential role and is directed by the State
and the terms produced by the fact that the global financial crisis and
its impact, which has expanded and affected all the joints in the
global economy.
Kamal Basri drew in his study that there was a lack of performance and
execution times and the investment environment in Iraq need to study
and work hard in order to overcome this weakness and to achieve the
best direction to take advantage of global experiences through reliance
on international investments and the creation of enabling environment
to attract.

For his part, stressed the importance of Afeef Rayyes
the terms of the successful partnership between the public and private
sectors and the need for the administration, however, the private
sector to achieve the desired results.

Supplement of the morning continued seminar also participated in the
show and the ideas suggested to the participants to contribute in
creating awareness of the new economic and culture capable of
supporting the changes required by the economic page.
