There was a change in the selling price today. It went from 1170 to 1166. This is the first change since Jan 18, 2009 when it went to 1170.

glad to see it move....kinda blows a big hole in these bank screen rate rumors though.

okay lets look at it this way, if it drops 4 pips every business day that is 291.5 days to get to one dinar is equal to one USD. There are 261 workdays or business days in 2012. The CBI has 14 holidays scheduled. Deduct the 14 holidays plus 12 business days for Jan that are already behind us, that leaves 235 days left in 2012. Oops, still need 56.5 business days to reach the 1 to 1 ratio. That pushes it out to Mar/2013.

don't know what their inflation is at right now but the pip move seems' to be CBI's "tweek" tool to keep Iraq under double-digits...........back years ago when the pips were moving alot',they slowed up when inflation went down.....don't know how all that works..it' just does...
