House of Representatives vote on three bills

House of Representatives held its twenty-eighth regular Monday the thirteenth of July 2009 under the chairmanship of the President of the Council, Iyad al-Samarrai.
The Council voted on a bill to amend the Civil Service Act No. 24 of 1960 article (50) amended the draft law on the Faculty of Imam Kadhim (p) the Islamic University of Science and a proposal to amend the law of the Supreme Criminal Court Act (section III) of article No. (6).
Finished the first reading of a number of draft laws and proposals for a law amending the Code of Criminal Procedure 23 for the year 1971 report of the Legal Committee and the ratification of international conventions bills, a memorandum of understanding between the Government of the Republic of Iraq and the United States Government and the amendment of the law of service and retirement of the Internal Security Forces (1 ) for the year 1978 rate.
The MP Alaa Makki, a statement of the Commission on Education for the death of Dr. Zayd Abdul-Karim Jade member of the Education Adviser in the Council of Ministers calling for the government to investigate the incident and bring the perpetrators to the courts to get punished just as MP Abelhd Afran a statement condemning the terrorist bombings that targeted the churches and asked the government to mandated force trained to protect the churches.
Then MP Hadi al-Amiri, from the water problem faced by the southern provinces, confirming that it is a real problem and that the House of Representatives calling on the formation of a joint committee with the government and activating the role of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iraq to demand a share of water from neighboring countries.
MP Falah Hassan Cenchenl has stressed the need to expedite the enactment of a law to provide housing for the Iraqi citizen who is suffering from the housing crisis, noting that the proposal had been submitted to the Council earlier.
He called the President of the Council to re-submit the proposed law, taking into account the changes that have taken place to include on the agenda.
On the other hand, MP Khaled Al-Asadi said the need to resolve the issue of lifting the immunity of a number of deputies assigned to the Commission after by the Presidency in this regard, The Chairman of the Committee on the Bahaa al-Araji requests that some of immunity did not require the lifting of the deputy and others have been stalled for coverage of the amnesty , and there are only two met the conditions for the lifting of immunity indicating that the subject requires the completion of the signing of the members of the committee concerned.
Asked the Attorney-Hadi al-Hassani, to activate the legislative side of the Council necessary for the completion of projects, especially the draft law of oil and gas, and in this regard Deputy Bayezid good support for the Commission on oil and gas law and legislation, but pointed out that the bill is linked to three other draft laws, requires a vote by the political blocs after submission package one which bills the Iraqi oil company and the structure of the Ministry of Oil and the distribution of oil revenues.
