Reform center to hold symposium on 2009 budget

BAGHDAD
/ Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi Center for Economic Reform will hold a symposium to assess the 2009 budget and to discuss an economic vision
for the budgets of the years 2010-2012, the director of the center said on Wednesday.
“The symposium, scheduled to be held this Saturday, will tackle investment and operation costs, as well as provincial allocations,” Manaf al-Saegh told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
The director stressed the need for taking subsidy, debts, loans and oil prices into consideration while drawing up the budget.
