hey everyone thank you for all your kind words.
My youngest daughter Amy is 3 years old.
when a baby is still in the womb the heart has an extra artery, this artery helps in many ways
one is that it helps pump oxygen to the child. anyways when the baby is born for some reason this artery will automatically close on its own,(a God Thing) but sometimes it doesn't and drs will just that the child has a heart murmur. we were blessed that while at a routine physical the dr caught a sound that he did not like they ran some test and found that the artery had not closed itself off. this has caused all kinds of health problems that different drs have explained for diffrent reasons. anyways the surgeon has told us that she will be a totally different child.
she will be healthy and her breathing will be greatly improved. she is a great kid who has been fighting up hill her whole life and now we know why.
anyway they say that this is a simple operation and could possibly come home the same night. but anytime the heart is involved there is always concern.
surgery is at 6:30 in the morning and should last around 3hrs.
thanks again for all your prayers
tilemaster

My prayers are with your daughter Tilemaster. I've been there with my grandson who was born with only 3 chambers instead of 4. They do great things with the heart and she will be OK. My Grandson went to Johns Hopkins and is doing very well, Jean, golflady

Hi Everyone:
This is to let you all know that Tilemaster's Daughter Amy is doing just great. The operation only took (I think) about 2-2 1/2 hours - they stayed in one of the rooms under observation until 5:00 to watch for any bleeding etc.. and she was moving around just being a 3 year old and no bleeding so they are on their way home!! Yeah!! I know they really appreciate all of your prayers and good wishes it was very nice of all of you.

everything went fantastic, God really put his hand on her.
she slept all the way home no weezing ,no snoring, no gasping for air. just perfect slumber.
my wife and i just want to say thank you for all your prayers. and God must have heard every one as there is no bleeding no fever and very little bruising. looks like daddys little girl is going to be just fine.
thank you again you are a wonderful family to have on ones side.

[b]sunday august 16th Amy turns 4.
just one last thanks to everyone. Amy is doing excellent if you didn't know what she had just gone thru
you would never guess it.
she is breathing great, her temper has calmed way down, she is playing much better with her brother and sister.
dr said her whole life she has been battling on the inside not knowing why she was so out of control at times. but today has been like who's kid is this. God is great and now Amy can celebrate her 4th birthday and her new life.
thanks again. mr. and mrs. tilemaster
