KIRKUK / Aswat al-Iraq: The Iraqi state-run North Oil Company (NOC) participated in studying and preparing oil contracts that will be held between the Oil Ministry and firms, said the NOC director, explaining that his company agrees with oil service contracts granted to foreign firms.
“NOC has been seeking to hold these contracts since more than year and a half,” Manaa Abdullah al-Obaidee told Aswat al-Iraq news agency.
“We participated in all the steps that the contracting process has passed through,” he said.
“NOC is affiliated with Oil Ministry and cannot work against its will,” he added.
