BAGHDAD (Iba) / Parliament / visit / Chairman of the House of
Representatives, Iyad Samarrai, that "Iraq has passed through a
difficult time during the last stage, at the end of this month we turn
another page from the pages of American occupation, and to be completed
in 2011 but we will have closed all the pages."

The Samurai,
during his meeting with Secretary General Amr Moussa, Arab Juma said
Tuesday that "we still need more efforts to get out of all traces of
the past."

A source in the Chamber of Deputies, told the
independent press (Iba) said Wednesday that al-Samarrai and his
accompanying delegation visited the headquarters of the League of Arab
States in Cairo on Tuesday and discussed with Moussa the situation in
Iraq and the diplomatic activity of the active return of Iraq to
exercise an effective role in the Arab system.

. The
Secretary-General of the Arab League Amr Moussa told a news conference
following the meeting on the role of national reconciliation to support
stability in Iraq and the region.

He pointed out that "Iraq is
not only a founding member of the Arab League, but the country of the
President and the Chief of the Arab region and the important pillar of
stability in the Middle East."

For his part, Speaker of the
House eager to communicate with the Arab League, and have an active
role in Iraq and the region as a whole, "We are very happy to make the
positive effort of the League of Arab States, which has had a presence
in the darkest circumstances experienced by Iraq."

The House
Speaker, Iyad al-Samarrai and his accompanying delegation met Tuesday
with Egyptian President Hosni Mubarak also met during his official
visit to Cairo, which began last Monday, President of the Egyptian
