Demonstration in central Baghdad demanding early election on the the 53 anniversary of 14 July 1958 revolution.
Baghdad / NINA /-- Hundreds of protesters, mostly supporters and partisants of the Iraqi Communist Party, demanded to hold early elections.
Nina reporter said that the demonstrators carried banners glorifying the revolution of July 14, which coincides today.
He added that the demonstrators stressed that an early election is a safety valve could prevent any disorders can occur in the coming period.
He said the demonstrators marched from Firdous Square to Tahrir Square in central Baghdad, where they had gathered there and shouted slogans glorifying the occasion before being disperse ending off the demonstration. / End
