Kuwaiti parliamentary sources: the government can not waive the debts on Iraq, secretly or openly

‎ Kuwaiti parliamentary sources confirmed that the Government can not waive the debt owed them by Iraq, overtly or covertly.
The sources warned in remarks published on Friday of the consequences of a crisis between the legislative and executive branches in Kuwait, Iraq's statements, if true, which started yesterday and suggest that Kuwait will skip to the debt owed by Baghdad.
The sources said that to say that the debt will be transferred from Kuwait to Baghdad would be a grave mistake and would bear the consequences of the Kuwaiti government and could lead to the accountability of the Prime Minister.
‎ She wondered how the same sources had to give reserve funds equivalent to the generations to come.
‎ ‎ Reference is made to the debt and reparations owed to Kuwait on Iraq, estimated at about twenty-five billion dollars.
